The recipients of the Estonian Cultural Endowment’s (Kultuurkapital) annual awards were announced on the 28th of February 2011. Anu Korb received the award in the field of folk culture for her long-standing work with collecting and researching the folklore of Siberian Estonians and for the compilation of the serial publication Eesti asundused I-V (Estonian Settlements I-V ).
Anu Korb is Senior Researcher at the Estonian Literary Museum’s Estonian Folklore Archives. She is a founding member of the NPA Baltic Heritage Network and a member of the working group for Estonian archives abroad. The Baltic Heritage Network would like to congratulate Anu on receiving the award and wish her all the best in her research of Siberian Estonians!
